Ski & Snowboard Experiences: Group and Package Rates
Sandia Peak offers group ski & snowboard experiences at rates well below other New Mexico ski areas, and with a smaller group minimum than other local mountains. Whatever the occasion, there’s a package built for your group.
Ski & Snowboard Group Offerings
Each package includes a lift ticket, rental equipment, and a Never Ever lesson — everything a first time guest needs. Add Lunch for +$8/person on any package.
Weekday (Mon–Fri): $55/person. Weekend & Holiday (Sat, Sun & designated holidays): $65/person. Minimum of 8 participants — 5 participants per equipment type (ski or snowboard).
Private Magic Carpet Rental
Take over the entire Magic Carpet lift and run for your group, rental equipment included. Perfect for beginners, young children, and anyone looking for a low pressure private mountain environment. 2-Hour Private Rental: $495 flat fee, equipment included. Instructor (ski or snowboard): $200 / 2 hr. Wed, Thu & non-holidays. No participant minimum. Up to 75 participants.
Off Snow Educational Experience
If weather or snow keeps the mountain closed on your date, your group gets a full alternative — at no additional charge: binding education, ski patrol & lift evacuation, behind-the-scenes area tour, careers in the ski industry, operations & snowmaking, tailored to your group.
Off-Season Area Rental
When the snow melts, the mountain doesn’t close. Rent Sandia Peak’s base area for a reunion, corporate outing, or celebration, with the lodge, deck, and Albuquerque skyline as your backdrop. 6-Hour Rental · Saturday: $5,000 to $6,000. 6-Hour Rental · Fri / Sun: $4,000 to $5,000. Add 3-Hour Scenic Lift (Chair 4): +$2,000. Monday–Thursday summer rates are also available — contact us for pricing.
Area Rental Facilities
Every area rental includes access to the Sandia Peak base area: base area buildings, bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, and deck.
